Level 1 Fit
Below are the different categories of Level 1 Fits that we provide. Expect each of these to take up to an hour.
Note: if you have a Time Trial/Triathlon bike, the appointment will take at least two hours.
The Size Fit service is for any rider seeking to buy a new bike, whether custom or off-the-shelf. The size fit defines your optimal bike position and identifies the best dimensions. The Size Fit may involve use of our Purely Custom Fit Bike, musculoskeletal evaluation, F.I.S.T methodology, and Dartfish tracking software. Our fitness trained professionals have a deep understanding of physiology and biomechanics to make savvy interpretations of the data that our state-of-the-art equipment can provide.
The Size Fit includes:
Meeting with licensed bike fit professional
Bike and body measurements and analysis
Optimized geometry for YOUR goals and musculoskeletal issues
Bike fit geometry specification sheet to use in selecting a bike and components
Confidence that your investment in a new bike will be well spent and that you will be comfortable and fast on your new bike!
During a Saddle Evaluation, we evaluate pressure patterns on your existing saddle, as well as your anatomy and pedaling style, using GebioMized pressure sensor technology and our sports medicine expertise. Using this data, we recommend production saddle options or a custom saddle from GebioMized. Then we let you borrow saddles to try them out.
How it works:
You pay for one saddle up front.
You take home up to three different saddles from our saddle "library."
Return two saddles within a month.
If you return all three, we refund the saddle price, with a $30 loaner fee.
GebioMized pressure "map" to identify and treat weight distribution patterns and hot spots
Saddle options recommended by a licensed sport medicine practitioner
Custom saddle recommendations as appropriate
Try out up to 3 saddles for up to 1 month before choosing the best for you!
The Follow-Up Fit is a fit that is intended for anyone who is having any discomfort from recent adjustments made to their bike, and need to either have their bike reset to previous measurements or to have minor alterations made to the measurements on their bike.
For those who prefer a simpler and less costly bike fit process, a Quick Bike Fit combines our professional and bike fit training with point-in-time body angle measurements to dial in your geometry quickly.
The Quick Fit includes:
Meeting with a licensed bike fit professional
Point-in-Time bike and body measurements
Optimized bike fit geometry for YOUR goals and musculoskeletal issues
Bike fit geometry specification sheet to take home
Greater efficiency, higher power output, improved comfort, injury prevention, and MORE FUN on your bike
