Note: if you have a Time Trial/Triathlon bike, the appointment will take at least two hours.
“Help Me Buy a Bike” Size Fit
The “Help Me Buy a Bike” Size Fit service is for any rider seeking to buy a new off-the-shelf bike.
The Size Fit defines your optimal bike geometry giving you confidence that your investment will be well spent and that you will be comfortable and fast on your new bike!
The Size Fit may involve use of our Purely Custom Fit Bike, musculoskeletal evaluation, F.I.S.T methodology, and Dartfish tracking software. Our fitness trained professionals have a deep understanding of physiology and biomechanics to make savvy interpretations of the data that our state-of-the-art equipment can provide.
The Size Fit includes:
Meeting with licensed bike fit professional
Bike and body measurements and analysis
Optimized geometry for YOUR goals and musculoskeletal issues
Bike fit geometry specification sheet to use in selecting a bike and components
A Saddle Evaluation focuses on identifying and improving comfort and pressure on your saddle. We evaluate baseline pressure patterns on your existing saddle, as well as your anatomy and pedaling style, using GebioMized pressure sensor technology and our sports medicine expertise. During the Evaluation, we will try several different saddle options and recommend the best choice from among the tested saddles.
The Saddle Evaluation includes:
Pressure mapping of current saddle to set baseline;
Measurement of pelvic width;
Evaluation of new saddle choices using pressure mapping, while keeping rider position constant;
Installation and pressure map verification of final saddle choice
GebioMized pressure "map" to identify and treat weight distribution patterns and hot spots
Saddle options recommended by a licensed sport medicine practitioner
Custom saddle recommendations as appropriate
The Follow-Up Fit is a fit that is intended for anyone who is having any discomfort from recent adjustments made to their bike, and need to either have their bike reset to previous measurements or to have minor alterations made to the measurements on their bike.
2d (Quick Fit)
Our 2d Fit (also known as Quick Fit) is a one hour fit that helps you get in a better position for increased comfort and efficiency. This fit is perfect for the commuter or beginner cyclist who has never had a bike fit. This fit also helps with riders who need minor adjustments to their bike fit as their bodies change due to injury or increased health.
The 2d Fit includes:
Meeting with a licensed bike fit professional
Point-in-Time bike and body measurements
Optimized bike fit for YOUR goals and musculoskeletal issues
Bike fit specification sheet to take home
Greater efficiency, higher power output, improved comfort, injury prevention, and MORE FUN on your bike
Least expensive, most affordable option
